I am Karen Jean Santos, a professional full time makeup artist and skin care consultant. I graduated at Basement Academy for Beauty Make-up Course under Ms. Cheryl Cabanos (US Trained and Celebrity Makeup Artist for Bridal, Glamour and Photography Makeup), Ms. Nina Dumpa (Hollywood Trained Celebrity Makeup Artist for Avante Garde and High Definition) and Ms. Georginna Desuasido (TV and Print, High Definition Makeup).
I worked for M.A.C Powerplant Rockwell as a full time counter manager and makeup artist. I underwent extensive skincare, product and makeup application trainings with Owen Sarmiento, MAC Philippines Resident Trainer and Basic School Training with Huang Hui Mei, MAC Singapore Trainer.
For more than 2 years, I have been rendering my services for weddings, debuts and special events like plays, fashion shows, corporate functions and parties. Some of my clients are ABS CBN Star Magic Talents, MEGA Magazine, COSMO.ph, Meralco Chorale, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, Chevron Inc, Alveo by Ayala Land, Filinvest Premiere, Toyota, Asian Development Bank, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Nuvoland Sales Inc.
After working for MAC, I realized that one of my passions along with makeup application is teaching and encouraging my clients how to enhance their natural beauties through the use of minimal makeup application. Presently, I conduct regular makeup workshops at the Pioneer Studios in Mandaluyong.
My basic wedding package includes professional hair and makeup styling with unlimited retouches and hair and makeup for prenuptial photoshoot. Majority of the products I use are M.A.C, Smashbox and Makeup Forever which are all highly recommended for tv, video and photography. My rates are flexible since I also offer other packages for those who are working on a budget.
